While browsing some of your wonderful pages I found an article about Google’s improved image search. There is a *secret* feature that allows you to filter image results by faces. Yep. All you need to do is add »&imgtype=face« after the very last character of a regular image-search-url.

So I tried this: http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=röntgenschall&imgtype=face. Pretty evil, huh? It’s Röntgenschall Propaganda Kids exposed.

But the best thing about it … I found a namesake. I call him »the other Dr. Blumen«.

Me and the boys have a lot of work right now. I moved to a secret bunker in Eastern Berlin and had to paint my walls (beautiful pink and turquoise). We also moved to a new practicing room. We were also writing and practicing new songs. So, meanwhile my little web monkey started to work on our website’s redesign, Röntgenschall will sure look after their fans. Take Huge Hefner from Venezuela for example.

He featured our stuff on his webzine »Fanzinatra«. We send him some sweet CDs, stickers and badges. He may now call himself »Röntgenschall Propaganda Kid«. Wow.

Wow … again this was a couple of exciting days for the Schall! Well, first of all we played on txitua.org for Txitua from Lima, Perú. It was great! And since the internet is a perfect place to share stuff (like Röntgenschall gigs for example), the show was also featured on the Peruan Creative Commons website! Creative Commons? Was ist das? Well … Bassplayer, what are you doing here? And why is it Spanish?

Creative Commons is an organisation that invented the CC-licensing model. To say it short: This may be the future of copyright. For example it enables us to distribute our music and videos on the internet with a certain control on what people can do with our stuff. We say: You might download, share, change, remix, sample our work as long as you always refer to Röntgenschall as and as long as you don’t make money with it! To learn more about that, visit the Creative Commons webiste.

CD out now!

Hallo Internet. Our CD is out now! This means five famous Röntgenschall songs plus a special bonus song, called »Star Wars Kid« (about the Star Wars Kid). The cover card that has all the lyrics on it’s back. The CD has a beautiful white screen print and it comes in a soft transparent plastic sleeve.

Our aim was to keep the price as low as possible. The CD itself costs only €1,- but we have to add shipping and packaging. Unfortunately it’s a bit expensive to ship to countries outside Europe. So it’s €3,50 for people from Europe and $8,- for everyone elsewhere.

Wow, we had a super new year’s party. We played Nintendo Wii all night long, awfully loaded on egg-liquer. I broke my left arm while virtually boxing against my brother Siegfried. I didn’t notice untill new year’s day.

When I stopped by on simplebits.com today, I saw a nice mention of Röntgenschall. Thank you Dan Cederholm! Our little webmonkey ate all the wonderful books about web design you wrote. He enjoyed ’em very much (with peanut butter). We had a lot of new site visitors and there were some other people writing about us on their blogs. That’s pretty cool and we love you all!

So go ahead and spread the word a little more via digg.com …

We think it’s a good chance to announce that we will wait a little bit longer with the tour. End of January. We want to give you the chance to take part and let us play on your blog a little longer.

Okay … we tend to drink really hard from time to time. We prefer egg liqueur. If you do it right, it makes you feel really great … and it can make you see things that do not exist. Well, rockstars simply *have* to do this kinda rockstar stuff. But yesterday while we had a secret gig in Melbourne, Australia … dude … something strage must have happened.

A strange guy without mustache entered the stage and rocked like hell. Seems like he vomited onto Herr Stock’s drumset. Exposed his pe*** and stuff. Great. There a pictures of evidence on the internet. I can’t remember anything. He asked to stay in our band but he refused to grow a stache. So Röntgenschall stays a gang of four, sorry Davo.

Hallo again. Some exciting stuff happening in the Röntgenschall hood. First of all I could cry when I look at our MySpace page. We already have 63 internet friends. Amazing. Many of them added us. Some of them were invited by us. And don’t try to mess around with us at MySpace! We have some friends that will eat you if you do! Such as Cannibal Corpse or Exhumed! I spent some days in my laboratory. Searching for a way to duplicate myself. Difficult. Bad headache. Well… had some… results. Sort of. My evil machine was able to design detailed construction plans that enable you to build Siegfried, Herr Stock, Bassplayer and me… from paper! I still have to make some little improvements.
